Terms of Service
Effective date: 3 June 2026 · Last updated: 3 June 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Renly (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Jovan Zdravković and Aleksandar Lalić, doing business as Renly, Serbia (“Renly”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Description of the service
Renly is a digital loyalty card platform connecting two types of users:
- Customers — individuals who collect digital stamps and points at participating cafés and redeem them for rewards. The Service is free for customers.
- Café Owners — business operators who create and manage loyalty programmes for their customers. Café Owner accounts require a paid subscription (see Section 4).
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@apprenly.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create accounts using automated means, create accounts on behalf of others without their consent, or maintain more than one account per person without prior written permission.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
4. Café Owner subscriptions and billing
Operating a café loyalty programme on Renly requires an active paid subscription. Current pricing is published on the Renly website and in the account settings. Prices are stated in Serbian dinars (RSD) and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) and managed through our billing partner, Polar.sh. By subscribing you authorise Polar.sh to charge your selected payment method on each renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
If a payment fails and cannot be recovered within a reasonable grace period, your account will be downgraded and customer-facing loyalty features may be suspended until payment is resolved.
5. Loyalty points, stamps, and rewards
Stamps, points, streaks, and rewards (“Loyalty Benefits”) have no monetary value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. They represent a record of activity within a specific café’s programme and are subject to the terms of that programme as set by the café owner.
Renly does not guarantee the availability or value of any reward. A café owner may modify, suspend, or discontinue their loyalty programme at any time. Renly is not responsible for a café owner’s failure to honour rewards.
Loyalty Benefits may be forfeited upon account deletion or if your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
- Attempt to forge, replay, or tamper with QR codes or redemption codes.
- Collect stamps or points through any means other than legitimate in-person visits to participating cafés.
- Create fake or duplicate accounts to abuse referral bonuses or other incentives.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without our written permission.
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including suspending or terminating accounts.
7. Content and intellectual property
Your content. You retain ownership of content you upload to Renly, such as your café name, logo, and programme descriptions. By uploading content, you grant Renly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
Renly’s IP. All other content, software, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with the Service are owned by or licensed to Renly. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you. You may not use the Renly name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Supabase (infrastructure) and Polar.sh (billing). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Renly is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Service will be available at any particular time, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Renly and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total subscription fees you paid to Renly in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim or (b) 1,000 RSD.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Serbian or EU law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renly and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
By you. You may delete your account at any time. Café owners must cancel any active subscription separately through the billing portal before deleting their account.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to other users or to the Service. Where possible, we will give reasonable prior notice before termination.
Upon termination, Sections 7 (IP), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of liability), 12 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing law), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive, will continue to apply.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Serbia.
If you are a consumer resident in an EU member state, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence also apply and are not affected by this clause.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, notify you by email or in-app message. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
